Wombats SA is proud to announce that our volunteer Rangers have been awarded a Premier’s Certificate for their long-term contribution. 🏅🏅
This has been done by many people since 1960’s – EVERY WEEK!
Each Ranger often does Ranger Duty several times a year.🙂
Rangers travel (mostly from Adelaide) to check our Mallee reserves, record any track/fence problems and fix them if possible, keep records of animals/birds, etc observed, note any weed occurrences that have to be addressed, record rainfall from our rain gauges, make other general environmental observations and take photos.
Thanks HEAPS to the many volunteer rangers that have done this work at their own cost. They often also assist on Working Bees/Volunteer Days, are part of the Management Team, and help out in many other ways! Very committed!🏅🏅
