The Society participated in the national Bushcare’s Major Day Out (BMDO) event for the first time this year. We were lucky to receive one of a small number of promotion grants from event sponsor NRMA Insurance, to produce several banners that we displayed at roadside locations near Moorunde Wildlife Reserve.

We were delighted to see some recent new members and a few new faces come along for the day, not to mention several regulars! Activities included weeding, erecting artificial hollows (for wildlife nesting) and further work on the shelter shed, which is now nearing completion.
